To insure our patients continue to receive the most efficient and advanced care possible, SCOMSA has added I-CAT Cone Beam 3-D image technology to our practice. Cone beam 3-D images provide high-definition, three-dimensional, digital data precisely related to oral and maxillofacial structures.

Our surgeons feel strongly that adding this enhanced digital radiographic capability will facilitate better care for their patients.

• The I-CAT provides complete anatomical information prior to surgery resulting in less trauma and more predictable surgical outcomes.
• Distortion from using old-fashioned radiographs is virtually eliminated which allows the surgeon to plan enhanced surgical treatment

We are excited to be able to provide our patients with a fast, safe CBCT imaging option which will also assist us to evaluate a wide range of patients including those with ridge resorption, bone abnormality, facial asymmetry, or airway space concerns. It will also help us to evaluate previously placed implants and to treatment plan orthognathic patients.
