Robert D. Carpenter, DMD
Dr. Carpenter is an honors graduate of both Siena College in Loudonville, New York and Tufts University, School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. His post doctoral training included an internship at Bronx Municipal Hospital and residencies at both Maimonides Medical Center and New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, where he served a Chief Resident in the Facial Architect Center. Dr. Carpenter began practicing in the Capital District in 1990. In 1996, he began a small private practice as a sole practitioner in Saratoga Springs. In 2000, Dr. Carpenter formed Saratoga County Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, LLC and moved the practice into a newly constructed surgical facility at 4 Care Lane in Saratoga Springs. Dr. Carpenter is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Board Certified Dental Anesthesiologist whose academic appointments include Cornell University School of Medicine and Albany Medical College. Dr. Carpenter is a national and international lecturer and instructor on dental implants and bone grafting.
